Kalkomey is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and growth of HuntWise, our in-field hunting mobile application. We are looking for someone with a strong focus on user experience, a commitment to iterative learning and an innovative mindset.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as driving the execution of key features and enhancements for HuntWise. You will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer, and work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support to deliver a best-in-class product experience for our hunting customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our in-field hunting mobile app aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, sales, customer operations, etc.) to prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, user feedback, and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Drive the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and user analytics to measure product performance and identify areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Over time, act as the subject matter expert on the hunting space and our in-field hunting technologies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer feedback, feature requests, and support escalations.
  • Manage one direct report.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management roles, preferably in the consumer app or outdoor industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and launching consumer-facing mobile applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product and business decisions.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics 4 and RevenueCat is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and rally cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in high-performing and agile development environments.
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices, and proven track record of working closely with product designers to deliver intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
